Daniel López

Daniel has lived in Okinawa since 2003 and is active as a filmmaker, stage director and photographer. In 2016, he made his first feature-length documentary KATABUI - At the Heart of Okinawa, followed by KAKERU in 2020, and UMUI - Guardians of Traditions in 2022. He works to create artistic bridges between Okinawa and Europe through the organisation of and participation in several collective exhibitions, shows and international artist residencies, mainly in Switzerland, France and Okinawa.
