Denys Fontanarosa

Denys studied musicology at the University of Rennes II, then immersed himself in the study of the Japanese language at the International University of Okinawa. He composed the original soundtracks for Daniel López's documentaries Katabui - At the Heart of Okinawa and Umui - Guardians of Traditions. Denys co-wrote the official biography of Nobuo Uematsu, famous for his work on the Final Fantasy series. He founded the record label Wayô Records to promote Japanese artists in France. Based in Tokyo, he works in video game music composition including Astria Ascending and Unicorn Overlord.
