Fūka Nakazato

Originally from Ginoza, Fūka began dancing at the age of three in Toyoko Miyagi's dojo. She holds a master's degree in traditional Ryūkyū arts from Okinawa University of the Arts. She is a prize-winner of the classical Ryūkyū arts competition and has danced in many Asian countries and the United States. In her research, she rediscovered in her village archives the manuscript of a forgotten Kumiodori traditional theatre piece, which she staged in 2024.
